New Features
Support for User Timezone
OOO now supports the user’s timezone. All timings shown will be based on the user’s set timezone in their Profile, and any timing entered will account for the user’s timezone automatically.
Whenever you need to create any Out Of Office period, make sure your own timezone is set in your profile, then use your own time to set the Out Of Office period.
If you are currently not in the same timezone as the server default, you will also see a banner reminding you that you are not using the same timezone as the server default.
Reassignment Report
You will now be able to see a report of which issues were reassigned away from you during your Out Of Office periods which have already passed.
For any Out Of Office period which has already passed, click on the information button:
Then, you will see a list of all issues which have been reassigned during that particular period.
Configuration of Choices for Reassign Issue
For Jira administrators only
Jira administrators can now enable/disable the option for users to choose to unassign any issues assigned to them during their Out Of Office period.
By default, this option is enabled, to maintain compatibility with previous versions of Out Of Office Assistant.
If disabled, users will no longer be able to choose to unassign any issue assigned to them.
Note that any current OOO rules which have been set to “Unassign the Issue” will remain unchanged even after the option is disabled. This will only affect future OOO rules set.
New OOO Avatar Colour Choices
For Jira administrators only
We have added 2 new colours for the Out Of Office Avatar. Administrators can now choose the OOO avatar they would like to display for any Out of Office users. You will need to enable the Highlight User as OOO option in order to see these new avatars.
Compatibility with Jira 10
Out Of Office Assistant is now compatible with Jira 10.
