Where to set the default exclusion filter

  1. Log in as a Jira Administrator
  2. Navigate to the Out of Office Admin Configuration page via:
    1. Jira Manage add-ons
      1. Click on Administration link
      2. Under the Plugins section, click on Manage add-ons
      3. Click on Out of Office Assistant plugin
      4. Click on Configure button
    2.  User Management
      1. Click on the Jira settings icon
      2. Click on User management
      3. Under Out of Office Configuration, click on Out of Office Setting
    3. Short Cut
      1. Open the Jira administrator short cut (key g + g)
      2. Type in "Out of Office Setting"
  3. Enter the Default Exclusion Filter, which will be applied to all users unless the individual user changed it to their own User Filter
