We are pleased to introduce Canned Search 1.6.0 with the following features:

New Features


 Allow Canned CQLs

User can select from a list of commonly used CQL or select Custom to enter a CQL.

  • Search in space

  • Search in children only

  • Custom

Display the page properties of the results in the search table macro

Besides displaying the common table result details, it is now possible to display the page properties information in the CQL Search Table macro.

Download the attachment right away instead of linking to the page

User can click on the ⬇ button besides the title to download the attachment immediately.

Add a clear button "x" to remove the search result

User can click on the “x” button in the search bar to clear the search result.

Improved features


To show page title as the text in the CQL navigation button

It is now possible to display page title in the navigation buttons.
By using $$title$$ in the Previous Button Text and Next Button Text, the macro will get the next and previous post and use the page title as the button text.

To allow configurable placeholder text for the search bar

Allow user to change the placeholder text for the search bar.

To add macro option to change colour of the search icon

Allow user to change the background colour of the search bar and search icon.

To allow right click and open in new tab for navigation buttons

Allow user to right click on navigation buttons to open the page in a new tab.

Invalid CQL syntax in Quick Search Macro when the Filter By is empty

When the Filter By field is empty, user will get the Invalid CQL syntax error when he executes a search


Search timing looks weird

When clicked on the number in the 2-D Contributor Summary Report, the timing is always increasing.
