Feature 1: Highlight Out Of Office Users
If the Highlight OOO Users option is enabled, users can easily differentiate a user who is not in the office with the following changes:
Display Name
Out of office users will have their display name prepended Out Of Office.

Avatar
The user’s avatar will be swapped with the Out of Office Assistant logo when the user is out of the office.
It will be reset back to their original avatar automatically when the Out-of-Office period ends
Configuration
Log in as a Jira administrator to carry out the following instructions.
Navigate to Out of Office Setting
Go to Jira Administration > User Management > Out Of Office Setting (via Navigation Bar)
Using Administration Search Dialog Box
Toggle the Highlight User as Out Of office
Click on the Update button to save
Feature 2: Improved validation when adding out of office rules
We added validation when adding rules that have an overlapping period so that we will no longer have duplication of rules

Feature 3: Status of Rules
You will now be able to track the state of every rule helping you to identify the currently active rules.
As part of the feature, we have decluttered the screen by hiding all past rules.
