How to update table using Jira Service Management Automation

Before you continue, make sure you have:

Created a service project

Added and configured table custom field

Table Custom Fields for Jira allows you to populate and display a table with issue values or values such as current user and current date time.

Setup JSM automation to automatically update the table.

1. Go to your service projectProject SettingsAutomation, then click 'Add rule'.

2. Select from the available rules or create a custom rule.

3. Add a trigger, for example, Status changed, then add an action, search for Update table or Update properties table and click 'Add'.

4. Fill in the values to be updated for the table, then click 'Confirm'.

5. Enter a name for the rule and click 'Save'.
