Quick Start
Goal
This section takes you on a tour of Out of Office Assistant's basic functionality via a simple scenario to add a One-time Rule
Pre-requisite
✔️ Out of Office Assistant has been installed successfully (/wiki/spaces/OOO0200/pages/1183155036)
Scenario
Scenario 1 - Leave a message
Amelia will be on a medical leave on the 23rd of March. As she will be back in the afternoon, she will handle queries assigned to her after she is back
When an issue is assigned to her, the Out of Office Assistant will automatically
- Add Amelia's Out-of-Office message as a comment to the issue.
This acts as an autoresponder message to inform users that some delay is expected.
Demonstration
Create a One-time Rule without coverer
Scenario 2 - Reassign to another person
Amelia will be taking an annual leave from the 18th of March to 20th March. During this period, Bernard will be covering her while she is away.
When an issue is assigned to her, the Out of Office Assistant will automatically
- Add Amelia's Out-of-Office message as a comment to the issue
- Reassigns the issue to Bernard
This will allow Bernard to follow up the issue in a timely manner.
Demonstration
