User Guide for Countup Timer

Introduction


The Countup Timer for Confluence macro allows users to quickly know the time from when they started on the project.

 

Usage


Adding the macro

  • Type /countup in the editor and select Countup Timer.

For fresh installations, due to the effect of caching, it may take some time for the Countdown Timer macros to appear in the list of macros for selection.

Please wait for some time and try again if it does not appear immediately.

Editing the parameters

  1. Click on the macro to bring up the Edit button ( icon below)

     

  2. Click on the Edit button. A panel will load to the right of the page.

  3. Update the parameters on the panel as shown.

Title Text

 

The title will appear above the counter

  • For non-empty value, the start date and time will also appear

Date

First date of the year in UTC (e.g. 01/01/2023)

Use the date picker to select the start date of the counter

  • You can input date in the format dd/MM/YYYY

  • For empty value, the default value will be used

Time

00:00:00

The start time of the counter.

  • The supported format is HH:mm:ss

  • For empty value, the default value will be used

Timezone

Viewer Timezone

The timezone of the counter

  • Use Viewer Timezone if all your users are in the same timezone or timezone is not a factor, like the time for a soccer match.

  • Otherwise, specify a timezone you want to use
