Delete Virus Files
The delete virus file configuration Delete Virus File option allows administrators to automatically remove any infected files uploaded by the users and a .
- A placeholder would be uploaded in place of the infected file. This is to ensure the content in the Confluence page is not affected by the deleted file
- An auto-generated comment would be posted to inform users that the infected file has removed and a placeholder is uploaded to replace the infected file
This is useful to handle infected files automatically without having to remove the infected files manually.
Delete Virus File Disabled
When The option can be enabled in the plugin configuration. The default value is disabled.
The Differences
The table below summarises the differences when the Delete Virus File value option is set to disabled, the infected file would not be removed automatically.
A comment would be generated to inform the user that the file they are uploading is infected and would advise them to delete it.
Delete Virus File Enabled
When the Delete Virus File value is set to enabled, the infected would be removed and replaced with a placeholder.
A comment would be generated to inform the user that the infected file they are trying to upload has been removed and replaced with a placeholder as it is infected.
User may delete the placeholder version of the file.
